Club Safety

Culture of Safety: Boys & Girls Club of Bristol continually updates robust safety policies, programs and training for our staff and volunteers that are designed to promote child safety and protect young people from threats that are present in our society. We implement layers of safety policies and guidelines to keep our kids safe including:

  • Our staff implement “Best Practices for a Safe and Positive Club Environment”
  • In-service trainings regarding safety
  •  Emergency procedures are posted throughout the Club
  • Fire drill logs are tracked and posted in the interior of the Club
  • Emergency defibrillators are located throughout the Club, staff are trained

Constructed in 2014, our West Street Club is the Premier Rental Facility in Bristol, CT! Located just twenty minutes from Hartford, our 40,000 square foot Green Facility features spacious rooms, air conditioning and state of the art technology.

Our mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.

Each day, we provide services for up to 1,000 youth at 12 different sites in our community. Our programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys & girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness & belonging.


We are extremely fortunate to have a strong senior management team, dedicated professional program staff, a committed board of directors and wide spread community collaborations to support our members in achieving their dreams.
